I’m currently on a bus to Glasgow. Taking this trip reminded me of the awesomeness of going somewhere new. I’m not really sure why going new places appeals to me so much. I get a mini rush of adrenaline and excitement whenever I go somewhere new and uncharted, well uncharted for me atleast.

I figure if I had been born hundreds of years ago I’d totally be an explorer or trader. Or if I was born hundreds of years in the future I’d be off exploring solar systems. Even when I play videogames my main goal is usually just to explore the world and the story behind it.

I guess that’s why I like videogames so much, every game is an opportunity to explore a whole new world. I know that’s why I like making them, everyday is me creating parts of a whole new world.
So I’m off to Glasgow, off to finally see another part of Scotland, which will be nice, since I could use a better idea of Scotland besides Dundee. Just the idea of seeing and going somewhere I’ve never been before excites me like a kid in a candy store.
